Cut your nose to spite the face!

In less than five weeks there will be the mid-term elections for the U.S. Congress. Polls are predicting sweeping victories for the Republican Party with a good chance of them taking over the Congress back again. The reason? People are angry that the economy did not improve fast enough for them during the eighteen plus months under the Obama administration with Democrats in control of the Congress. So, they are going to vote ‘the bums out’ -- which means vote Republicans, or stay home without voting. It does not matter that the Republican Party policies are the same as the ones which resulted in the economic collapse of this country under the Bush administration. It does not matter that the government will come to a gridlock with Republicans blocking everything President Obama wants to do, so that he will lose in 2012. It does not matter that during the short time since coming to the office President Obama has accomplished a lot for the struggling middle class with better health care, financial regulations so on. All they want now is to express their frustration!
