Madness! Madness!

With all the controversies going on about the fired U.S. Attorneys, and the funding of the Iraq war, the horrors that go on in Iraq are not big news anymore. But occasionally a picture or a T.V. news clip, bolts one to the reality of the sufferings of the Iraqis. The picture in today’s LA Times, which accompanied a news story of school bombing in Baghdad, is one of them.
Meanwhile, Senator John McCain takes a stroll through the markets there (accompanied by over 100 soldiers, and helicopters flying over) to demonstrate the improved security of the city!

When will this madness stop?
