Strike somebody to feel better!

Today is Sept 11, 2011, the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. There are a number of T.V. programs going on showing what happened and its impact on the loved ones of the victims. I find them hard to take. There is no question that the 9/11 attack has changed our lives here in USA. History may note it as the beginning of the downfall of USA. I find it amazing that most of the people here still have no clue on what made the terrorists from a region so far away, attack their country. I hear vague answers like ‘because they hate our freedom’, ‘because they are jealous of our prosperity and power’ etc. I suspect that President Bush and team had the same reaction. They just wanted to strike and punish someone to feel better. Look where that has gotten us into!
